« on: April 06, 2010 - 03:03:36 PM »
Is it possible to get or build a diff with 321 gears?
I have a chance to buy one and the guy swears its a posi out of a 8.75. No carrier just the clutch sg with the gears. What should I look for?

3.23 is a pretty common ratio and there shouldn't be a noticeable difference between the two.

Is there a number or something stamped on it to verify? There has to be someway of telling if it's for a 8 3/4.

Should be 12 bolts holding the ring gear on to the sure grip.  and left hand thread, but I think most are.
