Repairing Lenses

Does anyone remember the thread about repairing lenses that are crazed inside. The park lenses on my Dodge pickup have a lot of fine cracks on the inside. I remember something about pouring something in them and it fills the cracks?

I think it was a link to another site with the repair info.

I never recalled repairing cracks in lenses in a thread. I would've read that with interest since my 71 park lenses have cracks.

I do recall a thread about tinting them. I did that to my IH Scout tail lenses.

when I did the Scout tail lamp lenses I bought a small bottle of transluscent red at the hobby shop and a Preval spray can.
