Jeff-
I really like the service manuals. They’re the same books that the mechanics used back in the day. A quick search many vendors carrying the manual on CD. I prefer hardcopy documents. Amazon.Com carries the hardcopy manuals.
1974 DODGE Body and Chassis Shop Service Repair Manual [eb833N] = $98

Published by the factory, for their mechanics, this is the most detailed book produced for the chassis of these vehicles. Text, usually accompanied by diagrams or illustrations, explains how to disassemble, repair and reassemble the various components and frequently gives troubleshooting information. This manual includes wiring diagrams.
Note: the 1971 manuals are two separate books. One covers chassis the other body.
I find them invaluable while working. Lots of pics/diagrams and step by step procedures.
The manual doesn’t cover the part about busting knuckles, bleeding, and cursing. For more info on that, just write back to the forum
Hope this helps,
Ron
