D*mn Rodents!
« on: October 01, 2004 - 10:03:42 AM »
I was pulling my headliner out of the Chally last night. I noticed alot of old foam pieces at the edge beginning to fall out. Grabbed the Shop Vac to begin sucking up the 30 year old foam. Suddenly the familiar sound of a blocked hose. Not realizing what is was I grabbed the tail of a verrry dead mouse.  :o To make matters worse the little #%^* had used pieces of my broadcast sheet to add to his nest! >:(
I did find an interesting light cardboard style piece of paper taped to the roof which had boxes for writing in  body trim, body type and paint code.

I second that emotion!!  Ours was chewed up too.  We found little pieces underneath our back seat and only have the top 1/3 of the sheet left.  There are only 2 varments I can't stand....roaches and mice.  I would have had a coronary if I grabbed it :o :o I'll take snakes and spiders anyday!  Well, at least you found part of your build sheet...there is a bright side.

I guess I was fortunate to still have my one full one underneath the rear seat and about half of the broadcast sheet that was placed within my dash.  I would have figured for sure those things were eaten up by the darn field mice here in Wisconsin.  Man, am I glad I bought that car!  And I'm already anxious about finding some other project car for the next project!  I just need to take them on one at a time, or as money allows. ;D  Opps, I got off the topic a little.  It's kinda hard having so much extra time throughout the week and not be able to use it up working out in the garage on my Chally. :'(
