rear bumper sticks out too much

i have a 73 challenger that i bought as a project car and it idnt come with a rear bumper or brackets.  i just bought a rear bumper today from a local mopar guy, its for a 72-74 chally and it sticks out about 2 inches too far.   :clueless:

Do you have the fillers for your '73?...

Either run the fillers, or convert it to '72 back bumper brackets...

Even though they are quite similar, the '72 bumper is different from the '73, and the '74 is different again.

If your looking to fill in the gaps then buy the bumper fillers. Thats what they came with in '73-74. If you don't want the fillers and want to bring the bumper closer in, just buy the 1972 bumper brackets.... I'm pretty sure you can get new ones from AMD.
