Alternator
« on: March 30, 2012 - 11:54:45 AM »
What's the best way to wire an alternator when running a lot of added electrical accessories? Not sure that I want to go 1 wire either.

Would I just do the ammeter bypass, and use higher guage wire?

Also what amperage range should I look at if I decide to get a new alternator?

Accessories include:  water pump, dual fans, fuel pump.

All accessories are wired off a positive terminal block on the firewall to switches inside the car.

I'd follow Goody's recipe http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=67747.msg695611#msg695611
