    Tuff Wheel Origins Question

    I did a search of Tuff Wheel here and found several threads going back 4-5 years and saw where some said these wheels never came on E bodys originally.  If that's true, I sure remember several installed on Challengers & Cudas back in the day (70s) so were these offered by Chrysler as part of their 'tuff stuff' line or were they actually orderable on E bodys for one or more model years?  The look I'm going for on my 73 Barracuda is stock with only Mopar upgrades visible.  I have a Mopar tach from the period, original direct connection valve covers, etc.  so if Tuff Wheels fit this same category of mods one will find its way onto my 73.

    Never an option on E-bodies from the factory.

    Back in the 80s, we swapped steering wheels every time we found one in better condition, it was a very common, easy to change part.

    Your broadcast sheet says S81 so your car had the standard woodgrain wheel.  ;)

    I still need to assemble it for you, I am out of good backing material to piece it together on.
