Just a couple pics - nothing exciting
« on: March 19, 2010 - 11:48:03 PM »
Got my Barracuda out and took it to work for the second time this week. Just enjoying putting some miles on it. Took a few pics showing the upgraded cage in my Rubicon at the same time, figured I'd toss those in too. Love driving that 'Cuda, though I wish I could rip it apart and rebuild it all...just have to wait until I have the facilities like I want to. Patience!

Still get asked "whos car is it" as I park it at work, as in "not yours obviously". I'm every bit of twenty-two and been getting that since I bought it five years ago. Guess thats not too much of a bad thing, eh?

Looks great.

Im 28, rebuilt my car around the age of 22.

I had some drunk chick once telling me I had no clue about the Camaro I was driving.  :screwy:

Tell them "If you're such an expert, tell me what kind of car it is."

I was at a garage last weekend and an older woman was checking out my car....anotehr older guy said to her "I think thats a super bee!"  LOL

Goody, your car is beautiful...love the yellow/black...its a good show as far as what my front end will look like, too, once I get a new front bumper and paint my grill, so thanks for that angle/picture! :2thumbs:  Not sure why you feel you  need to rip anything apart to redo it!

As was said, you have your life together...you obviously know how to set a goal and work towards it....something that seems to be lost on many youth these days......be PROUD that you are "only" 22 and have what many of us are finally only able to get when we are old and decrepit....lol

Man, wish I could take mine to work.....not gonna happen though.

My car...naw.  I was heading out on I15 a few weeks ago when I see this old gray haired guy on the side of the road with this yalla car, he had the hood up so I stopped to see if I could help.  He said he was running late and needs to be back to LA before 4 & could I take him to the airport. So I gave him a ride, on the way he ask me if I knew who might be able to fix his car & when I told him I was ASE certified he gave me the keys and ask me to take care of it for him. He took my phone number & said he'd get back to me in a few days.  It's been almost three weeks and I haven't heard a thing. Wish I had got his name and number but he was so busy clowning it never occurred to me....Think he said his name was Ray Limbo.

Thanks everyone, I do appreciate the comments. I am very proud of my 'Cuda, both of the rigs actually. Two vehicles I really do enjoy and have lots of hopes and dreams of building upon on them. I have the 4x4/Rock crawler I want and the Muscle car. Just need a diesel Ram and a bass boat and I'll be alright!  :lol2:
