They were available in the entire A-body line, starting in 1967. s far as I know, they were also all small bolt circle axles. However, 1973 and later V-8 cars got 4 1/2" bolt circle, and I THINK the 8 3/4" was still used. I currently have a 1970 Valiant in my possession, that was equipped with the 8 3/4" from the factory, with Sure-Grip, no less. I haven't deeply researched the car, but I believe that this axle was installed as part of a towing package. I have also seen this axle under a 1970 Duster, which was NOT a performance model. Both cars were originally 318 cars, and the Valiant is a 3-on-the-tree model. The Duster was a 904-equipped car. I never ascertained whether the Duster was a tow package car.
