Brad,

If you can't find something there, I'll get one here and test it on my car first, then bring it to Carlisle. You should be able to use one from any Mopar with electronic ignition since you went MSD. That means 73 on up in your search.

It seems less than $20 for one model, or $40 something if you want a year warranty. The cheapie($18) I bought was the night before Carlisle 2006, and is still going strong. I don't recall where it was made though.

Got any part # for what you used?  I'm still looking?

Sorry Brad I miss-read that... it was a cheapie mastercraft from o'rielly $15ish

The borg warner "good one" what a waste of time!

I still have the box, if you need the actual part number.

Brad,

If you are going with Rock Auto, it is either part KUR176A, or KUR176AX. The only difference is the color of the plug connector. Who cares?     Seriously, I can get one and try it out on my car first. I have a feeling your's might be OK though. The ampmeter tends to be jumpy at low RPM's, but if you are at steady 2000+ RPM for 20 minutes or more, you should see the ampmeter stay steady and slowly go down from mid right center to just above center.
