Autometer speedo?
« on: May 10, 2010 - 08:08:20 PM »
I was just curious about something. I have never had to worry about a custom speedometer before and I was wondering how you get it set up for your current car. Do you just order one and give them your gearing ratios/tire sizes and they build it to work or what?

No, the speedo is one style works for all.  You just need to get the proper cable, then work out what gear to put in to the tranny for the speedo to work properly.

Autometer also has a programable electric speedo - I'm running one now and was easy to use.
