    Fender paint question

    Were the fenders on mopars painted on the body or off?  I ask because a friend said the fender bolts shouldnt have paint on them as they were painted off the car.

    On my 70 they are painted. 
    Original fenders, bolts and paint, so I assume they were painted on the car.

    I bought a set of used fenders off a California car that have factory primer on the undersides.  I would deduce that they were finish painted on the car.
