Very nice kill!!! 9.02 is a very low 14 second pass somewhere in the high 90s (mph wise). With a 416 and good heads, cam and intake you should easily be in the 7s. Mine is a simple set up on stone stock suspension and has gone low 7s (see signature) in the 1/8 on drag radials.
Certainly, I agree. I have prior slips of mid 8 second 1/8 mile passes with my 318. Car has much more in it, stick cars certainly take more practice for the hole shot!
Nice kill. First turbo import I got was at the track as well. He wrote "v8 killer" in the dirt on his back window. Got him by a full second the first pass, the second pass was just as bad and he broke..."v8 killer" wasn't on there when i saw him later that night
There are certainly much faster turbo imports than my hoopty, just not my style. They'll never have the class or style a Classic Mopar has.
