Something had to go...and it was either me or the motor.

Here's the skinny...

1970 340 motor (VIN CR2Q0496 or similar, A-body I think)
Bored +.030
11.5:1 pistons
Forged crank
Cam of unknown origin
Ported X-heads
Ductile adjustable rockers
Port-matched Holley single plane intake - Street Dominator?
Chrome valve covers
Engine cradle

I recently purchased the motor, so my knowledge is limited.  The block shows no ridge at the top of the bore and turns over easily (no pushrods, so that helps)  The bores show minor surface rust from being stored  in an unheated building.  I can look for answers to any questions, so fire away.

Engine is located in East Central Illinois.  Partial delivery may be possible, depending.  $1500, firm.

Brooks, is that a cast crank balancer on the front?

Indeed it is, however, I'm not sure that it goes with the motor...more of a convenient place to store it.  I'll have P/N#'s for the cranks as soon as I can dig my way to them (too much stuff).

I have a forgerd crank motor (#'s verifyed by our own B.W.) and its got that balancer on it. 

But then I've got another (68 GTS) w the other...
