Looking at a 69 barracuda notchback tommrow.
it has a 340, 8 3/4 i believe . its a collumn shift auto.
He's asking around 750.00, i saw the car in a pic and it doesnt look to bad.
Wheres the prone to rust areas on these abodys?

Inner fenders,frame rails,trunk,floors,etc?
Anything special or anything i should look for?
Did these cars come with disc brakes? Thanks, nick

All the usual spots for rust.My floors were badly rotted, tire well is usually gone and the typical quarters, trunk lip and lower fenders. Also check the seat tracks as they are prone to rust also.`69 had drums or the 4 piston discs,4" bolt pattern. The 340 and 8 3/4 rear are worth the asking price!

To the best of my knowledge, Formula S's DON'T have different grills... they have an upgraded interior, different options, and a different decklid aluminum piece (some of these will run you $1100 bucks!)...

Also check out the window channels and the rear sail piece between the rear window and the deck lid... those are known to rust also... check the engine bay side of the inner fenders right behind where all the front suspension is... that area likes to swiss chesse... also, check the rocker panel box area just to the front of the rear wheel well (basically the small section just before the door jamb... I could go farther into detail, but these are the BIG areas to watch for... just from my experience of getting intimate with my 'Cuda...
