bringing up an old topic...
I`m about to start dynamatting the car. I bought Dynamat because the pricedifferences in larger ammounts of material were minimal here, and when shipped from the states even the cheapest materials were way more $...

I was wondering if it would be wise to dynamat the roof, instead of using the original cloth-like stuff... We have a pretty humid and cool climat here and I was wondering if moisture not being helt by the Dynamat will cause problems. I am not worried about the roof itself, just the headliner.

Bart,

No experience with that myself.... but for what it's worth I'm planning on installing Second Skin sound deadener on the roof of my car.  I painted the inside of the roof with Zero Rust.  However, I'm in a very hot and dry climate but I would think as long as you painted the underside of the roof you should be fine.  You might try poking around on some of the audio websites... it seems like it's done all the time.
