Bullitt-
Thank you for posting the threads addressing Jim's Auto Parts.
No need for me to expound on my experience.  CC.Com members have already done that.  >:(

I haven't dealt with Paddock or Funk Brothers.
I like the Paddock catalog selection, but went with YO.  Thought it would be easier to go with a single vendor on the two large purchases I made.

I haven't heard about Funk Brothers until becoming a member here.

What do you think about making a page dedicated to showing CC.Com member's overall opinion of vendors? :dunno:
A page that lists the vendors with (stealing from eBay) a 5-star callout next to their names.
This page can only be edited by CC.Com Administrators.
Make it a new tab on the Home Page.
Obviously, have a statement that says something like: Based upon experiences from CC.Com members, the following vendors are rated upon member's satisfaction.

We have members from all over the world, and why?  so we can compare notes and get advise.  The vendor market, thanks to the Internet, has expanded.  Lots of good folk out there and unfortunately lots of shysters out there, as well.

Reading ads in Mopar mags, every vendor can cure your Mopar ills.  But, before ordering from a new vendor, I've posted a feedback request here.  So far, all vendors have received exceptional feedback - and, after making the parts orders - the site members have been correct.

I've owned Cudas since 1980, and this site still provides info that I didn't know.  Taking a step further, the next generation of Cuda/Challenger owners can benefit from our experiences (good and bad).

Bottom line, I think that it would be a good tool for us older and new Mopar owners.

As a senior member, what do you think?

My apologies if this is considered a high-jacking :'(

Thank you
Ron

Ron, I like the idea but execution that would be meaningful might pose a challenge.  If it were something along the lines of the What State are You From list where a simple statement were added to the last post & not get into asking questions or bloviate about experiences. I think this would take a moderators time & patience to police.

Iraq. Moving to SD when I blow this joint though. We should meet up at Del Mar or something.
