Slap Stick Spring
« on: May 05, 2010 - 04:32:09 PM »
I need a spring for the slap stick.  It is the one that goes under the console, at the front.  Can they be bought?  Thanks!

Someone here should have an extra, if not try Tony's parts or RT specialties. You mean the V spring with a circle at the apex that connects the linkage to the floor?

No luck at those two places.  Does anyone know what the dimensions of the spring are?  Maybe I can find one that could work at a hardware store?

I got it, but you'd have to buy the entire shifter and linkage to get it is all...Sorry..

I was looking for one for a long time and finally a member here on CC had one and sent it to me.
Just the other day I checked a website that a friend of a friend has on the internet selling parts and there they are and reasonably priced too.

Here is the link.....
