Funny (but not too politically correct) Story
« on: May 14, 2010 - 10:34:48 PM »
My son just told me a story I had to share here.  I hope no one is offended by me sharing this as that is not my intention.  Sometimes real life is just humorous...

My son works for a 4 Star hotel in downtown Atlanta while he works his way through school and a co-worker of his shared this with him.  She has a cousin who lives with her aunt in the Northeast and he is slow mentally.   She told my son that although it wasn't pc or particularly nice she said she calls him 'ret@rded' and at the end of the story he would know why:

The aunt works out of the home, but leaves her teenage mentally challenged son at home so she frequently calls home to check on him.  Recently when she called he told her "Gotta go Mom, I'm feeding Skittles to the Troll".  She quickly called back and once again he told her "Mom I gotta go, I'm feeding Skittles to the Troll!" and hung up.  She was almost an hour away but immediately headed home.  When she got there she went to the boy's bedroom where she found him sitting on his bed tossing Skittles at the bottom gap of the closed closet door.  She carefully opened the door and calmly sitting on the floor was a midget / little person with a clipboard.  Turns out he was a census worker and when he came to the house the young man opened the door, took one look at the census worker, leaned over & picked up the small man carried him to his room, set him in the closet and closed the door where he remained until the Mom 'rescued' him.

This story is so wrong on so many levels, but apparently actually happened to this girl's aunt/cousin/local census worker and almost too funny to be true!

Again, no offense to anyone was intended.

Thanks, Jim

That's so wrong, but so funny at the same time. Reminds me of the scene in the movie ELF where Wil Farrel calls the midget and elf.
