just changed my rear ujoint and have a question

when i was changing my rear ujoint this afternoon i was installing the driveline to the yoke of the diff and noticed there arent any tabs on the diff yoke to hold the ujoint and keep it from sliding around,  this is my first mopar and i know chevy and ford both have them, so i was just a little curious because it didnt make sense to me.  if one of the straps that holds the ujoint to the diff loosened up even a tad, the ujoint would slip out

the cups have a groove on the inner part[shoulder] & the joint comes with c clips to install in the grooves , the c clips sit inside the shoulder of the yolk where the bolts thread in

ooooohhh, thats why the ujoint came with what i thought were "extra" clips  :bigsmile:
