And yes - bottom door gaps are notoriously screwed up on the Mopars we all love.

do you mean from factory or hobby bob...?   I don`t think there is much to adjust there when all original sheetmetal is on the car...

The door can been adjusted down on the rocker at the striker and front hinges. Of course you have to keep an eye on the window and top gap, not to mention your body lines. That's why some people get a varying gap the length of the door - rocker panel gap. Another problem is that few people adjust the bottom of the door IN towards the rocker at the bottom hinge. A 1/32 in from dead flush at the bottom can't hurt.

Back to the 71 Cuda I just stripped, primed and aligned. It was probably the hardest Cuda I have EVER aligned but it took me less than a day to hang all the metal. I'm on this forum to help and encourage others. It takes time and patience.

And one last note. One of my customers here in Oxford Miss is a classic car collector. He has roughly 15 RARE cars and trucks in his collection. He keeps them stored in several buildings on 347 acres he owns. He just purchased two vehicles at the last Barret-Jackson auction, a 67 L79 Nova and a 67 Tri Power 427 Corvette convertible. Both cars are completely restored. And guess what? NEITHER CAR IS PERFECT.

So just try and make your car as "perfect"  :cooldancing: as possible within your budget and be happy with it. It's all you can do.

that`s what I mean.  If the top of the door, and bodyline are correct and door to rocker smooth, there`s not much more to do...
I did hang the doors at the striker side a few mm higher. When glass and all internals are in, it will come down to the correct hight.  I did however push down & clamp the door in position when I blocked the body for paint.
thanks for your proffesional input.
