Bret evidently has privitely told them he will come back, but it won't be publically reported until such time he dosen't have to breathe sweaty spring training air or socialize with "underlings". Sorry, the guy has become a jerk, all his talents, skills, and records have been soiled as far as I'm concerned. Vikes should have picked Clausen,  :2cents:
Hes a soon to be 41 year old quarterback who doesnt want to go to training camp...
Not many players still around at that age, and MANY have held out during training camp for the same purpose.  Every Viking player that talks to reporters love him and hope he plays 2 more years.  Best QB to play the game as far as im concerned and
i enjoy watching a 40 year old that critics said was washed up play like he did last year.   And thats coming from a Bears fan too.

He was lucky to hold up as well as he did last year. I just dont see him staying healthy all year. Hes tough but he is also old, the mind is willing but the body is old and beat up.

Hail to the Redskins!!!

So they have another old quarterback(didn't they learn from Mark Brunnell)? They signed slow Willy Parker. Really, when will the Deadskins get a clue?? A beat up Parker, a beat up Portis.... Yeah, things look good.    :screwy:

In Shanahan we trust...thats all we have left.

Good thing is that there is going to be competition at every position...no job is safe this year.  The culture is changing and I'm damn glad to see it...professionsals are running the organization now.

I hope they let Shanahan call the shots. I always felt Zorn was a bad hire...He probably did what Dan Snider wanted.

Snyder has been low key ever since he hired Shanahan and Bruce Allen.  I don't think Shanahan would have come here if he had to kowtow to Snyder.  Even Portis is towing the line...been to all involuntary workouts and has kept his mouth shut.
