Some general questions ?

   While trying to get my car back together I have come upon a few things I need a little clarification with.   1.  When I take things off I try to keep them together so they will go back the same way.  The headlight buckets where the headlights fit into have two different sized holes in the back of them. My car had been hit some time in the past and the right fender replaced so these have been removed and put back on.  They had the same sized holes together---small ones on the left,larger on the right. Just does'nt seem right to me. The headlights fit fine either way and you won't see it but was just curious  as to what is correct and why the different sized holes?  2. There is a wire just behind where the speedo cable goes into the tranny (AT) that is broken off. I have no idea where it goes to.  3. I am putting in a new engine wiring harness I got from Year One. I have already converted my ignition from points to a Mopar electronic one that had a single two prong ballast resistor.  The new harness is set up for the 4 prong resistor. I am tring to get the motor started this weekend but will not be able to get a different ballast till later this week.  I have two of the single so can I just use those two taped together  temp. to get me by. Not real strong on electrical stuff.

  One more question.  In the pictures you can see the two L brackets just below the headlights where the bottom of my grill will mount to. The center brace also has a mounting point. But the bottom of the grill has 5 mounting points/tabs. What connects the grill to the front of the car between the center point and the outside points. Must be some other kind of bracket that is missing?

not sure quite what you mean on the headlights but the wiring conversion only needs a 2 prong ballast , the green / red trace wire is unused anyway so connect the blue wire to the 12 v source at the ballast
