70 challenger stock leaf spring hangers and shackles
« on: September 02, 2010 - 12:53:52 PM »
As stated I have a set of spring hangers and shackles from a 70 challenger.  I pulled them to use a B-body rear-end and spring relocators.  If anybody needs them let me know.  They are in very good condition. May trade or whatever.  Thanks, Danny

I think all years should be the same.  What do you want to get out of them?  I'm sure I don't have anything to trade.

Most of the studs broke off mine years ago trying to remove the springs.  The hangers and shackles are pretty crusty too.

They are kinda heavy Darren.  How does $30 to your door sound?  It will probably cost 15 or better tp ship. I would like to see someone get them that can use them. If you want them let me know.

I just want to ask something....

How were you ever to get your shackles apart without boogering them up? I totally ruined mine.   :pullinghair:  Yep, I was reduced the old pry bar method.    :grinyes:

Yeah, just something else I had to buy when I installed new leaf springs.

My car was kept in garage for the last 12 years, waiting to be restored. They had been off previously during the resto phase.  I gues he had soaked them in wd40 or something.
