Too bad that thing wasn't a '70 and could "Donate" some of dem parts to my project...

I'm working on that and have not forgotten you! I think I found a pair of 70 fenders that may help you.......details to follow.

do you have a decent amp gauge standard dash? I'm wanting one to send away to get converted to a volt meter?

That's good, cause I've had everybody and their brother down here looking at this thing...A month and nothing, then all hell breaks loose...
