Hi T.C.,
No big deal on the sales report.
I DVR'd the auction and watched it this morning. Using triple fast forward was able to by pass all the cars, stopping only on the E-Bodies. It's rather sad that the cars arent bringing in the money like they used to. The convertable Chally at $700 Grand, and couldn't meet reserve. It wasent that many years ago (or maybe it was, too many Corona beers) that a triple blue Hemi convertbale Cuda went for $1M. Maybe the Chally looked better on TV than in person
Watching the other E-Bodies not meet reserve, even my wife commented that the money value has gone down. And tht's not limited to Mecim, BJ's prices have been loer, as well.
We've been watching BJ Auction for many years (every hour that Speed channel aired, my wife likes the auction). anywho, the price tags have gone down. I relize that this is (hopefully) a momentary situation. I would think that the proce tags for these beautiful cars will go up again, thus: My little B'Cuda will increase in value (It's not for sale), vendors will contnue to reproduce parts we need, and we can still turn our noses up to Chevy & Ford owners letting them know our cars are worth more (or something like that).
Back on topic; I need to win that lottery and puchase the cars while the prices are lower.
Ron
