That is very cool.  Normally I don't like to see cop cars but this one looks wicked!  Thanks for sharing.

Not why they would say it is all orginal and then put "dial 911" on the side. The 911 system was not introduced until 1968.

I was thinking the same thing.....

Maybe on those old rotary phones the number for the sheriff in that town was "911"!  :roflsmiley:

...he had the "911" made on magnetic sign stuff to cover the original phone number, no idea why

Maybe they use it in DARE shows or Cop conventions or something, to go to schools or whatever, and they don't want people to get confused about what number to call.

Looks great, they were flat head 6's with twin carbies I think and were supposed to perform very well.   :bigsmile:
