Memorial day; Rememberance
« on: May 31, 2010 - 11:28:12 AM »
Let those who paid the price to have our freedom be not forgotten.
 :wavingflag:

Tonight in my own way to recognize those who gave their lives, I will watch episodes of the recent HBO series, The Pacific. Truly an outstanding series if you haven't had a chance to see it yet.

:wavingflag: It was a wonderful and beautiful day to remember what the fallen soliders who in the past has gave everyone of us. And certinly also to not forget our armed forces serving today to assure that same freedom and protection.  :wavingflag: We did have some morning storms, but the veterns group stayed at attention and fired the salutes amid it all.  :wavingflag: They had personally come under the storms of attack on the battlefields in years past, one post commander said, "A little lightining and thunder and rain won't keep us from acknowledging this day of observance.
