Haven't posted any updates as time and money have been tight
Since my last posting on my restoration (lot's of posts since then - but none on my 73 Chally)

Driver quarter is on - and remarkably enough - I put the rear end together and everything fit (very proud of that actually)
Working on the door - did a partial patch (I know...full skin is better, but limited budget and only going for driver quality)

Also set my car on fire (but I coverded that in another post  )

Looking goog.  I checked out your site, slow progress, but, there's progress.
I love the running total under "Cost."
Before you know it, that sum will be $20K.
When you buy stuff, tell the wife it cost $100.  It's easier that way.
Keep going,  it will be worth it when she's running.

I may get to paint next year...depending on funds of course. I plan on painting my self (first time). I've done several cars ( from a 65 Galaxie 'vert to a 77 TA) -this is my first Mopar and will be my first paint job...should be exciting! Out of all the cars, I wish I had kept the 65 Galaxie though - but that was 25 years ago when they weren't worth what they are today.

I grew up in a Ford/Pontiac family - so the Mopar is completely new territory for me. Fun thing is I got my brother along for the ride. He was a Mustang man - still has a 550hp 2003 (yr?) limited edition Mach I in his garage (yes...he did tweak it a little (haha) to get there) and also had a 72 featured in Car Craft (he sold it about 8 years ago). Now he has a 69 GTX he is working on

About a year ago he was looking for another project and I said to him "For God's sake, please don't do another Mustang" - hence the GTX...maybe he was jealous of my Chally?
