    Intake swap question

    I recently found an intake with two four barrel AFB carbs that the guy says will only fit 0n 64-65 273 engines. Wouldnt this fit on later small blocks? I have a 74 318 I was wanting to put it on. I am runnung the 302 casting closed chamber heads but still think it would fit. Any help would be great. Thanks.

    Check the angle of the hold down bolts, the early 273 were different to later heads & 318, 340 & 360 heads. Also the 302 heads are the same as the 318, 340 & 360's.   :cheers:

    the early 273 had a different angle on the intake bolts so it will not fit anything after 65 LA engines
