disc brake conversion
« on: October 16, 2004 - 06:34:36 PM »
went to the junkyard today to find parts for a conversion I found on the web.

thought I was pulling brakes off a 79 new yorker, but it turned out to be a 69.

they are 12" rotors, like the story talks about. haven't done the measurements from the article yet. try to tomorrow.

anyone know anything about these?
specifically, should i go back and get the spindles? the story says to use 73-6 a body, but if the new yorker ones are the same dimensionally they would be easier, i know where they are.

Thanks
