I can't believe no bids!!  If I had the money, I'd give you 12 for it!  I'm surprised that one interested guy who said he'd give you 12500 didn't bid on it.

not all is lost. I will call that guy and try to work something out. There was a last minute watcher that emailed me and said he would like to buy it. but he wants more pics and what not. so im not worried. im sure it will go for at least the 12. there is another guy that restored cars here locally that wants to come see it. how many members we got. maybe we can do a raffle or something. would ebay let me do a raffle as an auction..... with 6000 views and 103 watchers. lol wishfull thinking. thanks for the support and the help. im still waiting on the millions to start the official e body restore shop. where members are treated as family. hey I like that. its my dream. to work in a shop like boyd coddington. cept I dont need it to make money. maybe I should keep the 71 and sell the 72. I took the 71 out for a drive for the first time today and it drove so nice. I started to fall in love. if yall havnt noticed i have been tring real hard not to get attached to this car. but its hard

Get the 71's body lined out and swap the goodies you like from the 72 over and have the best of both worlds.  In the end you got a hot rod and a more valuable car in the 71.  You know after you swapped everyting over you could still get more for the 72 than you currently have invested in the 71.  It will just take a little time.  Where are the pics of those wheels on the stocker? :P

If it doesn't sell right now,  wait until the first of the year when everyone's getting their tax returns and run it on ebay again. ::) ::) ;)

I was going to do the wheels on monday.
I ran out of time today. but I have not forgotten. I am curious myself. I figure the rear tires will be too big, maybe if I had a lower profile tire on the rim. but I will use the jack to raise the rear end too see what works. I Will take many pics. and the idea of swapping aint a bad idea.

Hey Burpin, keep us posted, can't believe it didn't sell.  :o As I said before, it isn't gonna be hard to sell, it's just you shouldn't jump at the chance if it isn't exactly what you want. You've heard all this before so just hope you make a deal that makes you happy! I don't know what kind of area you live in but parking it out front with a for sale sign in it might do it, that car would attract a lot of lookers and maybe some buyers too, it's amazing how just the right person will stop and look and WALLA!! Good Luck!!

If you do end up re-listing it again, you should pull the buildsheet pic out & put this in instead. ;D

Take it from someone who has sold a lot of cars....this is a bad time of year to sell. Once the fall hits, the cars don't move until late winter/early spring time. Of course, the rare, big $$ cars are not subject to this, but driver type cars sure are.  So if you dont need the room or $$, wait until spring.  Just my .02
