Hydraluic clutch slave cylinder

The slave cylinder started leaking. Someone else installed it approximately 500 miles ago. Then it started leaking. So I have put new o rings in it and was starting to put back together and notice these scratches on the side. Now I am thinking this could wear on the o rings and cause the leaks. Should I replace the whole thing. Hate to have to pull the trans again.

if you noticed that the side of the cylinder is scored/scratched you can try to steel wood it or I would just replace the assembly. IF you go somewhere on the road and have a failure you will kick your self for not replacing it..
