Stealth Twin Turbo - my new toy
« on: June 16, 2010 - 10:00:16 PM »
Now that Ive had the Barracuda for a year, and Ive got it about where I want it, Ive got time for a new project.
The cuda is in maintenance mode now. Everything works well, and it looks awesome, inside, outside, and everywhere else. I'm really happy with it. It's so nice now it scares me. It can only go downhill from here!
So I'm diverting attention to the 92 twin turbo. Its 18 years old, but couldnt be more different than the 71. It drives like a modern sports car. Comfortable, smooth, handles on rails, stops on a dime....all the cliches. The cuda is brute force, and drives like...well you know.
And the daily driver Ram SRT.....drives like a Ram, until you smash the pedal and it wants to go a little sideways.
Wish I had room for more, and I dont, but I think I've got a great driving experience going here.  :woo:

Cool.  I prefer white, then red, but you don't see a lot of blue ones.

Nice trio there.  I used to have a Stealth just like that, same color even.  1/24th scale though!

ive been on another site a lot lately for the stealth, and Ive got some guys laughing at my suggestion the stealth is a mopar.
Oh well, but far as I know, if it was sold by dodge, and they still sell lots of parts for it, then its a mopar. Purists may try to disagree, but its like denying your dad is your father.
Seen stealths judged at the florida nats and pictures of them at the nationals, so I say of course its a mopar, but then its probably pretty loosely used to describe a lot of cars that were sold under the chrysler banner at one time or another.
Dont see the reason for insults about it though.
This site is a LOT more mature than the other one. I think there are a lot of guys on there that still live with their parents . Not to insult anyone here that may still live that way, but my point is that theres a lot to be said for maturity and life experience.
