Has anyone out there ever rolled the fender lips for more tire clearance? And if so was it difficult to do and how did you do it. Thanks for any advice you have to offer.

Never done it, but check out Eastwood at ( http://www.eastwood.com )  They have a tool for $250 that bolts to you wheel studs and rolls the fender lip flat.  Looked like at good idea.

What car are you doing this on?  And, how much more clearance do you need?  It may be possible to make other changes to gain the clearance you need, without permanently alltering the bodywork (e.g. rear spring relocation kits, etc.).

If your talking about that 1/2 to 3/4 inch lip the fender trim (if you have trim) mounts on...then ya I did on my 69 roadrunner, just to keep from chewing the sidewall out of a set of slicks on those big bumps in the road. Results ..easy .......would I do it again on a nother car...no... even tho you had to look really close it left a ever so slight dimple every few inches (keep in mind at the time I was young , had no proper tools to work with, and was more interested in fast than looking pristene
