sandable rattle can

Does anybody know of a good sandable paint or primer that comes in a rattle can? My hood has some ripples in the metal from people attacking it with high speed sanders and I'm trying to smooth them out without using too much bondo. I had black satin tremclad to give it color, but I decided to keep using the old hood instead of getting a repro. I've used a few 'sandable' primer/fillers in the past that were anything but sandable. I found the tremclad plugs sandpaper in a matter of seconds unless I wet sand it which is fine except that I can't see the ripples once the water is on it.

Not cheap, but you can get real good quality 2 part epoxy in a rattle can.  Right before you use it there is a bottom to release the harden in the can and you have a set limit of time to use it all.  Check with your local automotive paint supply store.  Epoxy is not very easy to sand, but they might have high build primers too.

SEM makes good stuff and they make a rattle can primer though I`m not sure how well it sands?

I found some stuff at the local autopaint store called Transtar 2 in 1 primer. This stuff seemed to work great. It was sandable in about half an hour, didn't clog up sandpaper at all, and did a great job of filling in a few imperfections too. One can did an even coat of the whole hood with a little left in the can at the end. It was about 12 bucks a can here.
