    Hi
    will a 383 4bbl intake fit a 400 engine? the intake is a 69 and the engine is a 74 i always have thought that 383 and 440 were all this intake would fit but??...

    The 383 and the 400 are both B engines.  The 440 is an RB engine.  The RB is taller than the B.  The 383 intake should fit the 400.
