another weather stripping question
« on: August 24, 2010 - 10:07:39 AM »
Specifically the hood to cowl seal.

I installed a new TopCat seal.  The problem is that the new seal is all compressed and isn't sealing against the hood.  The origonal seals were obviously never shoved inside a plastic bag which seems to be part of the problem.  Is there anyway to get the seal to spring back to the "C" shape it's supposed to be in?

I took the hood to rad support seal out of the package...took one look at it and put it back in the bag.  I'm cleaning up my origonal one.  My origonal hood to cowl seal is MIA.

You could try leaving it out in the sun to see if it will unfold its self.  :dunno:
