glass question
« on: October 26, 2004 - 02:11:14 AM »
I thought I saw a thread wiith the same ? i am asking recently, but can't find it in a search.

I have a friend who has offered to give me a windshield, and drivers glass he has from his wifes drag car. Her car is a 72 cuda.

will the windshield from a 72 cuda fit a 70 challenger?
same ? on the drivers window.

would be nice, can get new windshield for 235, but FREE is almost always better. ;D

Thanks

Hey P6P, Hmmm, your screen name initials are the same as mine!  ;) Good news, the door and windshield glass will interchange but the quarter glass won't.   ;D

schweet!!!

now i can take out my broken windshield, blast the channel, repaint, and be done with it.
rear window won't be as easy. have to fix a rust hole i found in the channel, maybe more, before reinstalling the glass.

wish the 6 in mine was for the 6pak, then i wouldn't have a 6popper. still cooler than a butstang, or crapero though. :)

dreamin of my 452.......

with enough juice, and a big enough turbo you can make anything fast.... for a while anyway. ;) saw a pos pinto run a high 11. dude went to the junkyard after every race, and bought a new motor.

hmmm, maybe that's what a should do. monster turbo on the /6.... then i can show up them ricers.
turbos are pretty awesome though. my stealth has twins, and when they spool up it's fun.
no substitute for cubic inches though.
