Where does the wire hook up to?If im reading the wiring schematic correctly,it goes to the alt.,along with the dark blue wire.My new M andH wiring harness has no provision for it.73 Cuda,340

Ignition power, 12v, not distributor side.

My '73 340's solenoid plugged onto one of the alternator terminals , then the plug for the alt. plugged into the backside of that terminal (blue one I'm confident)...piggyback.

Piggyback terminals are a common piece, but the molded insulator used was special, I've never seen one anywhere else.    Maybe a common part used on 70's Mopars.
