Auction listing says it is restored with a warranty replacement block.  For $2.5M, the guy should give a little more info.  Also, listing says the car is in Dallas (me too), but the phone number is AZ, although the contact is probably a broker.

I heard a story about a cuda like this back in Carlise 2005.  Someone said there was a hemi cuda that was discoved in some type of structure that had been bricked in or something to that effect?  Said it only had 20 or 30 miles on it.  Maybe its this car?  Topcat was with me when we were talking to this guy maybe he remembers the story, its the same guy who was offering everthing but his first born for TC's hemi engine due to the date code on it.  Real snarky dude.  But one thing I did feel is his story was beleiveable.  Who knows.

By the one photo on ebay it also appear's to have a red hockey stripe. It is my understanding that the factory only offered Black. That is why you see some black cars with black stripes. Red must be after market.. The car on the auction listing doesn't have a stripe on it from what I saw so I don't think ist is the same car.

I don't think they are the same car (e-bay vs Mecum). It looks like there are a few differences such as tires, top of door trim, antenna, stripe. It is strange that a car kept in a climate controlled garage for 40 years would have the tires replaced. Something is fishy, no pun intended.

Was doing some digging and I found the car the guy at Carlisle was talking about in 2005.  Here is the post on Moparts:

After reading the questions and comments the car in the picture is not the actual car and his is black stripes on black. Someone in the collector circles probably knows this guy. He says he was a factory rep and bought a few and put them in storage.
