You can really open things up by using one of these, then put the quickener inline with a shaft to either the wheel or the box.

Interesting ! I'm guessing it's just a chain and gear set up? Too bad they didn't offer different ratio's right in that set up? Not hard to do just need different size gears? Sort of like a Milodon gear drive set up for a timming chain.

I thought about that and shot them off a note asking about that possibility. That would be a pretty neat set up to change ratios with, but it sounds like they don't want you in there messing with them, but if you were serious about it, two sets of different ratios would be a quick and cool swap.

....... I see that Speedway has the R&P setup offered for $999. That would be the best way to go. The steering quickener has the potential to add some more slop in the steering system once it is worn in a little.

I've seen some pretty sweet deals on E-bay for stock car R&P set ups. I'd want a power set up though. Good thing about stock car stuff is it's bullet proof and rebuildable!

One problem with R&P systems is that the stock mopar steering arm ratios tend to reduce turning radius when combined with short travel racks of most R&P. You could try moving the outside rack tie rod end in closer to the spindle center line to restore the ratio, but then your getting into some highly specialized modifications that you wouldn't want to just jump into willy nilly.
