Took a ride today.
« on: July 18, 2010 - 12:03:38 AM »
This was our first long distance run since the new steering gear.  Nikki drove great although the charging system still seems to have a "bug" in it. My needle read just to the right of the line right of center about 80% of the trip. Maybe a 160 mile ride round trip. Dont look like I'm frying anything but it make me a bit nervous.  :grinyes:

Also I need to get a shorter belt for the P/S. Under certail load conditions it'll rub up on the fan pulley, makes a heeluva screach!!   :22yikes: And is making a mark. That new pulley is close to 7in dia.

Anyway week went down to Chicagoland mopars meet in Belvedere. Although the actuall show is tomorrow (probly a 10th of the cars there today). Still some nice rides. Ran into chuck (chucks71), first thing when he see's me... where's NIKKI? All good..  :2thumbs:

So took if a few pics if you wanna take a look!
