That was Chris, she is on my hug list. She stopped up here with her husband Pete a few years ago & hand delivered a broadcast sheet they found in that car for a different one. Very nice people.

I saw this one at a show recently. I knew something was up when I saw it drive up but couldn't hear it running.

Could've been ordered for a woman (no offense to the female musclecar gunslingers around here).  My GF really liked the Tiburon (all cool and sporty), when we went to test drive one (the four cylinder version), it scared her, and was too much car for her.  :roflsmiley:

In the early 80's an aquaintance called me and offered his '70,  /6, auto on the column, bench seat Barracuda for $1000. I took him up on the deal and had to pick the car up on the shoulder of I-5 in Tacoma, WA. It was dark green w/ green interior and flawless stock down to the hubcaps and space saver spare. I towed it home, dropped the pan (rod knock) and replaced one rod bearing (as we used to do at 19). The car was on the road for years after that! My hot rods always seemed to break frequently, but I could always count on the Barracuda.
