Moving
« on: July 24, 2010 - 03:04:24 PM »
Well it is finally happening. I got my papers saying that when I return from this dust busters nightmare, I will be PCSing (permanant change of station). I will be heading to San Anjelo Tx at Goodfellow AFB for the next stage in my career. If anyone is out there hit me up.

Good luck with the move!  Probably pretty hot there but I guess better than the dust buster nightmare as you put it.   :2thumbs:

Thanks all. We are excited to be moving to another duty station. We did just move into a new house on base but are looking to possibly buy our own house in Texas. Florida has been fun but it is time to go. I need to move to a shop where i am needed. Where I am at now is too crouded and I am not being used as efficiently as I should be.

Alan,

I am going to try to stop by, at this time I am going to be delayed here by about half a month and then get home around early Feb. After my rest time when i get back it will be time to start outprocessing and getting ready to leave. We will have to see what is going on at that time.

It is going to feel good moving someplace new, but gonna be a pain to move the chally and hope to keep all the pieces where i know where they are. when i left she was all torn apart and i had a few more metal spots to finish up. oh well. all in due time.

Best of luck with you Drew and glad we got to meet when we did.  Take care and hope you can keep al your parts together.   Hope to move my car soon too and I hope I can find all of the parts I have stashed.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development
