Two74s, Thanks for your input. What color are you painting your car? I'd like to see pics of it when it's done. 2 Questions. Are you using decals or painting the stripes on? If painting the stripes on, what color are you using. I'm trying to decide whether to paint them on or use decals. When I call Year one or anyone that is selling stripes, the stripes are coming in different color blacks, Gloss, Semi Gloss, Matte, and flat. Which is correct and looks best? Also, I really like the R/T to show through the hood blackout but i'm trying to decide whether to leave the dodge letters off or on. All of the pictures that i see do not have the letters on. What is your opinion on that? When you first log in to Cuda-Challenger.com, up in the center of the screen is a red 70 Challenger that has both. That is the only car that I have found so far that has both. What I'm planning is Citron Yella with the 71 R/T stripe, hood blackout with R/T showing through, dodge letters across the front, hood pins, TA Spoilers & Go-wing.

Finally able to post pics of my soon to be citron yella '73. I really need to start a thread in the resto section on the car. I've got a ton of pics from the start to where I am with it now. Lazy I guess.

Holy Shizowee! She looks like mine! Did you coat the bottom of your car with anything? I'm kinda concerned about painting the bottom of my car the same color as the car. I'm worried about the paint chipping. What is your take on that? I'm looking for advice.I see you have the same taste as me.Same color, Spoiler, hood pins, four speed and everything! What stripe kit are you going with? I'm doing the 71 side stripe with the hood blackout. Keep in touch I will post pics soon. Great Job so far! She looks good. :2thumbs:

My car will get the factory rallye stripes. I'm also putting the black vinyl top back on the car. The bottom and interior of my car was sprayed with single stage ppg concept. The rest of the car is going to be shot with ppg dbu base coat and dc4000 clear. Hopefully the rest of the car will have color in a couple more weeks.
