from your picture looks like you could cut 4" off the pipe that goes over the rear end? ( straight section) If you had to you could also cut a section out of the straight section that goes down on a 45 DEG angle and  reweld ? Doing that will give you aprox half the distance back. Meaning if you cut off 2" it will move the whole assembly back about 1" ( being around 45 deg) then to lower the tail pipe you would have to twist the pipe .

Nope, no mig welder here.

I just can't see doing major surgery to make it fit.  I figured on a few shortening cuts, but not having to completely reworking a whole pipe.  I think I am just going to send it back and go another way.

I used the magnaflow all stainless kit. I still had to cut and weld to get around the tranny crossmember. I think whatever system you go with you will need to do some welding?

We had a similar kit but the mufflers go in front of the rear axle instead of behind it. They fit perfectly. You don't see too many aftermarket kits that place the mufflers back in the stock location due to the tight fit.

Have mig welder, chops saw etc...will travel? Just chip in for fuel? (and can get a mandrel bent 90 quick too?)
