I was going to ask you what you thought of the power numbers, but you beat me to it.  You were pretty close on the install price, too.

Could you provide a parts list for the conversion? That is a really awesome fuel injection setup and I am debating between it and the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 2 system.

This is for a small block:

From FastMan:
XFI ECU System #30-1000 @ $1600
Main ECU Harness #30-1100 @ $350
Fuel Injector Harness #30-1200 @ $120
FAST MAP Sensor (1 Bar) #30-7007 @ $40
FAST Coolant Temp Sensor #30-7003 @ $10
FAST Air Temp Sensor #30-7004 @ $10
Fuel Injectors 36 lb/hr #30-3608 @ $320/8
FAST Dual-Sync Distributor #30-5011 @ $399

From F & B Throttle Bodies:
Six Pack EFI System: Includes fully assembled manifold with three billet throttle bodies, adjustable progressive linkage, fuel rails with billet mounts, IAC, TPS, fuel rail crossover (AN-8) and billet throttle cable mount. $2678.00

From Bouchillon:
Custom gas tank w/pump. $900

Other:
- MSD-6 box
- No one included a fuel pressure regulator or gauge.
- Air cleaner. I went with factory (new) Six Pack air cleaner. F & B provided rings to adapt throttle bodies to the Six Pack air cleaner openings. Works perfectly.
- Had a custom decal made for the air cleaner lid. Now all I need are custom 360 Six Pack callouts for the hood.

Very Cool, but if it was my 9K, I would have looked in the piggy bank and sprung for the 14 or 15K 426 Crate Hemi.

The bare 426 Hemi motor is more than $15K.  Add a BB trans, accessories, etc. and you're talking more like $30K.  And that wouldn't have gotten me to my goal, which was a computer-controlled, fuel-injected, trouble-free motor.

My first choice was a 5.7 Hemi but Bouchillon's quote for the motor, computer, accessories and everything to install it was about $15K, and the total would have been more like $20K installed, so that was out.

The Six Pack EFI ended up being the most cost-efficient way to get the trouble-free, reliable motor that I was looking for.  Since the fuel tank/pump were changed the car has been such a pleasure to drive, with fast, reliable starts, instant throttle response, no bogs, etc.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat.  Plus it looks cool.  And if you can install it yourself (I can't) it ends up being more like $6000.

awesome.  forget about the cost...how many people have six pack fuel injection?  worth it right there if you have it to spend.  I am with you on the trouble free driving experience.  I will be installing a fast xfi system, for that same purpose.

FastMan can also supply everything to do a 4-bbl-style EFI setup, total materials cost was $3942 and you don't need anything from F&B. Less cool but viable alternative if you're looking to go this route.  Anyone wants to see the quote from FastMan, email me at mike@mikes73.com.

BTW, here's the dyno sheet:

Really interesting read this.

My "dream" set-up for my 440 Challenger is a six pack EFI system combined with a small procharger with modest boost.

Can't afford it of course but maybe one day....
