Scanning and posting is a copyright infringement. Most boards frown on it.

Since Freiburger's good with it, I thought I would post a pic of this car. The guy at the back of the Camaro was killed in this car in a head-on collision during the power tour. His son was seriously injured. Anyone know how the kid is doing? This breaks my heart.

According to the Hot Rod magazine forum, the uncle of the kid posted that he was out of the ICU and finally made it home to Florida with his mom.

Yeah, the son is recovering at home, someone on bangshift posted updated information on the son.  So sad.

A friend of mine's father's last days were spent on Power Tour this year, he died right after he got home.  Very sad.

I hope the son carries on the tradition of hotrodding that his dad was sharing with him. So tragic to be experiencing the thrill of a lifetime with your dad and then to have someone with poor driving skills snuff his life out in an instant. This is happening way too often nowadays. There are too many people on the road that don't take driving serious enough. The punishment should fit the crime. The fines for this kind of accident in most states are nothing more than a slap on the wrist. The only time we ever see any real changes in the laws is when it happens to a politician's family member.
