Rattling Calipers

After 5 yrs resto time I've finally got my 70 Challenger back on the road.
Just.
But it's nothing short of stunning and is knocking everyone's socks off.Including mates who run professional resto shops
Time has been short this year due to a heavy workload but that pays for the toys,doesn't it?
Still a few things to sort out (including some parts I still need to get from Slotts)and a few other gremlins which have become apparent with the few cruises it's had.
Which brings me to the reason for this thread.
When I travel over bumps there is a really bad clunk clunk rattle rattle from the RHS front.
Everything is tight under there and all front end components are new but I noticed the floating half of the caliper is loose in it's grooves and rattles.
I'm 95% certain this is the problem as I can prevent the clunks and rattles over bumps by riding the brakes which is obviously applying pressure to the calipers preventing them from floating.
Is there a shim package or something to prevent this problem or do i need new calipers?
I ask on here as the US calipers are assembled somewhat differently to our Aussie ones so I figured you blokes would be the gurus

I assume you have slider not pin type calipers , the repro hold down plates seem top be deficient in strength to hold the calipers tight from some suppliers

Aha....so you lot had those horrible pin type ones too!!!!

No.it's not them.They are slider type.

Not sure if this is the right setup, but I managed to get the older style anti rattle clips for mine, they came with the metal rod type. Rich.

, the hold down plates on the slider type are cheaply made by some suppliers , swap them for a stronger set

RustyCuda - nah mate,mine's different to that.I think they're the same as what's on my 69 barracuda.I had to make my own ones of those U shaped clips as some of them were broken.

Anyway,I've sorted it.
I pulled off the two slider plates off the offending side and one of them seemed to have been installed a bit skewed.
Put them back on properly and all seems good

Ken a mate had the same problem on his VK Valiant so he had the bracket brazed up to remove the excess movement on the non pressure side, I saw it before and it was new and Chrysler said it was normal, extremely annoying. The plates he had were tight being new.
